I haven't bought the others, but did buy a cabin air filter and it was cheaper than that via Drivewire.com. I'd never done business with them before, but they shipped quickly and everything was well packaged.

I have the '06 FEH, but this is good for any Ford Escape 2001 or newer; it lets you choose specific model, so I chose FEH FWD since that's what mine is. :)

Shipping was $6.95 to Texas, and I bought two filters (one for now and a spare; the FEH doesn't ship with a cabin air filter installed) to help offset the shipping price. The filters are good for 1 year or 10,000 miles.

Where does the cabin air filter go? just trying to figure out where to put one. I haven't looked for a place to put one yet.

Passenger side, under the huge (covers 1/2 the width of the windshield/hood) plastic panel.

Here's a PDF with instructions. The Bosch filter I mentioned earlier included terrific printed instructions, as well.
