I made a bracket out of a thin piece of aluminum and used the existing holes you see in John's photo. Had to use longer screws because the holes are recessed. I can see all my other gauges just fine and the SGII is in clear sight right in front of me. This is for the '05 - '07 FEH.

The '09 FEH does not have these screw holes placed the same so I made a bracket for two SGIIs and mounted them with velcro on top of the dash in clear sight and not blocking the road in front of me.
