Service soon message after restart
 

Sometimes if I turn the car off and then turn it on I'll get the service soon message. Say, I stop run out to pick up a carry out order and turn it on again. It happens very infrequently and the service manager at the dealership said don't worry about it unless it's more consistent. Anyone else get something similar? Don't want an easy fix now to turn into an expensive one later but at the same time I don't want to chase around just a loose connection.

Sounds like the symptoms of the "blend door" issue. There are several threads here that discuss it.

It's not an expensive fix and several have done it themselves.

I had similar symptoms and changing the blend door fixed it. I did it myself with no reflash.
