I wonder if a fellow engineer might figure out how to override this design by rewiring the switches in the driver door panel to allow the driver to control the windows when locked???????

If the car wasn't under warranty I would have already taken care of that. It's a minor gripe but for some reason it aggravates the hell out of me more than anything else about the car.

i asked my bf to try to find out if he could see if he or someone else could override the driver window lock out, that was a year ago, still waitin for him to look into it for me.

if they don't know you did it, it isn't a violation of the warranty!

I didn't even know the window locks were like that. I knew about the lights going out on the other three window switches. I think that is cool. I guess it could be rewired right at the master window switch to not lock the master switch. I would just need the schematic. Anyway, I have noticed Nissan Maximas have the same problem.
