I am thinking about buying either a Ford or Mercury hybrid,,, I now own a Honda Civic hybrid but am looking for a vehicle with more room in it. I was wondering does the navigation system use GPS to find your location. Also do either of the vehicles without the navigation system have any displays or read outs on miles per gallon. The Honda has two trip odometers that can be set and it reads miles per gallon. The Honda also has an instantaneous miles per gallon bar graph at the bottom of the speedometer . Any replies would be appreciated thank you

The non-Nav has one MPG (not two like the HCH) and an instant display. I like the instant display a LOT better on the HCH, the FEH bars are slower to react and bigger so visually the FEH instant display isn't as pleasing (IMO).
