2012 Hyundai Sonata - Second Trip Mileage

Just returned from my second trip with my 2012 Sonata and all I can say is WOW ! For the complete 753 mile trip which was both highway and city driving, this car got an AVERAGE of 41.5 for the whole trip. Highway speeds were at 73 mph and with the A/C ON. It is amazing to drive a car on a trip and just watch you fuel economy go UP !! And this is considered a full size car ! As I have said before and will again. This was maybe the smartest car puchase I have ever made ! :D

Good for you. Short distance driving has been reducing mileage a lot down to 32 mpg. Hypermiling has been helping me bring this up around 36 mpg. However, hypermiling is not easy. I replaced the air cleaner filter with K&N a few days ago and am hoping to see the improvement.
