Tire Minder tire pressure monitoring
Has anyone tried these tire pressure monitoring valve caps? They are available at Canadian Tire for $29.99 or http://www.tireminder.ca/

Re: Tire Minder tire pressure monitoring
Hi,
I used 40 psi caps with the original tires and 50 psi caps with my Sumitoro T4s. One of the original tires had a slow leak that required air every two-three weeks and the pressure caps worked great to keep track. I had taken the tire in but the shop couldn't find the leak. With the 50 psi caps, I one fail by developing a leak. The internet vendor sent me two replacements with one for my spare tire. I'm still using the caps but would prefer a better system with a cabin read-out. For the price, they are effective especially with a slow-leak tire. But if a cap fails, you'll have a flat with no cabin readout. Bob Wilson |

I'd rather have the cabin monitor too but the price...
