DVD Sytem Suggestion - 08 Hybrid w/Moonroof
 

I have an 08 Hybrid Tahoe w/moonroof.

Since it has a moonroof, the center dome light console is moved farther back, behind the moonroof. Ive never actually seen a flip down DVD player in one of these with the moonroof.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking about the head rest DVD players, but the baby seat pretty much hits the back of the headrest so I dont think it would work well for us. Plus the headrest screens are small, whereas the flipdown roof mounted DVD screens are much bigger.

Also, how to integrate this into the factory NAV (non-DVD) Bose system? headphones are fine (I dont really want to hear Spongebob while Im driving). Does it even need to hook into the factory head unit, or could we just rob power from the dome light and have wireless headphones, call it a day?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I have the factory nav and I have a moonroof as well. the factory dvd is a panasonic.

Yep, i just watched a youtube of some car dealer selling 1. Looks nice. Thats what I need, or maybe even something a bit bigger. Except rear view vision is going to suffer. Lane change !!

Mine has the same specs; looks like a 13" diag/ flip down. Both front and rear play video, separately by my settings. Sound comes through Bose system unless you plug in the head phones. I haven't done it yet, so don't ask me the switch combinations. I'd have to get my manual. The kids love it do death!!!
