Re: Hybrid problems new silverado 2009
09-down don't, and is not upgradable.
Also, new logarithms for the hybrid transmission make a softer/faster transition from hybrid to gas on dead stop full throttle. (less of that hole when merging lines)

all 10-up GM hybrids do this.

I tried the 2010 models for both, but gas kicks in for the Silverado regardless of how smoothly I touch the pedal in the same incline.
And also has anybody noticed Cardan differences between models?

Dude, they only way I can try to explain your experience will be like, there is an assembly plant at Silao , Mx. They build the Silverado hybrid Export Only.
This Trucks have different options, and depending the region they will have less (USA, Europe, high option)
Since you are in South America, and dealers there also have the Silverado Truck, might be a Mexican version, and the software-hardware might be different.
Remember than most 3rd world countries Federal Laws for pollution and safety are on the low scale. This is an advantage for every Automobile builder to cut costs.
Chevrolet is a brand that is commercialize world wide. GMC is not, so the Sierra and the other GMC trucks, must be on a Import directly bases in the rest of the world, and no dealer option for GMC purchase must be available.
You can check this theory on the 2010 Chevy driver door.
For Cardan you mean Drive Shaft? I heard Cardan form an Australian once, and he was referring to the drive shaft, and he also call the Automatic Transmission "Box"
If it is the Drive Shaft, then no, same size, same material from the ones I can compare.
Then again, Arlington and Oshawa could have different parts suppliers !!!!
But even like that, parts must comply with GM specs !
