Greentec versus Bumblebee IMA Battery

Time to replace the IMA battery in my wife's 2004 Civic Hybrid. I know Bumblebee is a frequent poster on the site, and may be a supporter, but I've got to consider multiple options if they financially make sense.

  • GreenTec Auto - Battery is $1495, with free one way shipping. I would be on the hook for the return postage of the core, 18 month warranty.
  • Bumblebee - Battery is $2095, shipping between $125 and $195, 2 year warranty.

I know Bumblebee has a great reputation, or at least it seems that way from what I've read. Haven't heard as much about GreenTec.

For what looks to be about $600 less, I gotta consider them. Any input, any experience with GreenTec?

I recommend Bumblebee as i know Eli and the batteries he is using and they are the only ones we have found so far that work well. I use the same ones in the UK for my battery repairs.
