'08 HCH turns on with ignition OFF
It hasnt happened to me but for some reason my car turns on without a key after someone in my family uses it. First day I bought the car my mother, moved the car to block a parking spot. She parked it, turned off the vehicle and locked the doors. Couple minutes later my neighbor knocks on the window and says the car is idling. They try to open the car via wireless remote and it fails to open. They use the key to open the lock and by stepping on the brake the car turns off without putting the key in the ignition. Now this happened again last week when I dropped off the car at tint shop. I came around to get the car and the car was idling. I tried to open the door with the remote and no luck. I manually opened the door, stepped on the brake pedal and it shut off. Anyone else has/had this problem?
