Thanks for posting this! I am in "panic mode" as I drive the southland quite a bit. The stickers save some time when the things start to back up. I understand the desire to have us adopt the new technologies early. Too bad the stickers are going to expire before the new technology get here. I will write a letter of support to these guys and see if we might be able to get our Yellow stickers extended until Honda and Toyota get their "plug ins" to the market. Another year maybe? My 2006 Civic Hybrid has 117,000 miles on it. So we can go another year easy!

Yeah, I'm sad as well. I drive a 2008 Civic Hybrid. I'm a daily commuter in Southern California. The I-5 and 170 fwy HOV lanes prove to be useful for my treks. After July 1st, we're back to the mainstream. I will write as well.
