PHOTOS - Panavise In-Dash Mount on HCH II

Thought I'd share some photos of a the new Panavise "In-Dash" mount I installed this past weekend in my 2006 Civic Hybrid to hold my Sirius Satellite receiver made by Kenwood. I'm pleased with the nice clean look to the install.

Instead of installing the satellite antenna outside the vehicle and then dealing with having to route the coax wire back inside the vehicle, I opted to mount the antenna on the passenger side of the dash, right under the windshield. It seems to be working great in that location.

The Panavise mount has the standard bolt hole patterns compatible with cell phone and satellite receiver cradles. The installation wasn't too complicated, but did require temporarily removing the dash bezels. It's not a job for those mechanically challenged.

Info on the Panavise mount can be found on the Panavise web site here:

I purchased the mount from CellularMount.com (excellent quick shipping BTW):

I can't see myself paying for radio, but that is a sweet setup you've got going on there.

Steve,

That's actually just a light which indicates when the passenger side airbag has been automatically turned off. This happens when the seat sensors detect the passenger is too light (as in a child). I've had it come on when I place my small laptop backpack on the passenger seat.
