Unexpected side benefit of owning a hybrid

My blood pressure is down...literally (came back from a physical). I used to drive very aggressively (in Houston traffic it's survival of the fittest); I used to get so worked up on people cutting me off and sneaking themselves in front of the merge lane etc.

Now, my attention/concentration on the MPG gauge prevents me from concentrating on other people's stupidity! I feel more relaxed as I am able to better tolerate the traffic conditions. Save money on gas AND add years to my life - priceless.

I feel your calm. I am comming from driving a BMW 3-series and that car feels like it's going 30 mph @ 80 mph. Everyone else was driving too slow!

It's like Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde. I can admit it now.

It's why I call my car my little ZenPod. :D

Indeed.
That MPG gauge on the dash does magic!

I couldn't agree more! Same impact on my life. Don't know how long you've been driving, but I've been at it (aggressive driving) for nearly 30 years. This car changed me overnight!
