Fixing Broken Gas Gauge?
My gas gauge is off a bit so it says the tank is empty when there's probably about 6 or 7 gallons left.
I took it to my mechanic and he said that he had to replace both the fuel pump and the gauge at the same time. Does anyone know if this is true? The part would be around $300 + however many hours they say is. For all I know, it's a computer issue...maybe I'll go to dealer instead, but honestly I don't trust them either! ;) Thanks for any advice! |
