You mean saving the URL for this link or the Video. Does anyone know how I can save the video to my harddrive ? Thanks.

Unfortantly you can't save the movie. The movie was coded with flash player, its a streaming movie that sends the movie or information in packets across the internet. I just saved the link to my favorites and lucky for me a have a very fast connection and it only takes about a min to download. If someone more computer savy ythan myself knows a way to save it then please enlighten us.

There's one thing the link *doesn't* tell me, and I've been really trying to find out - the engine code for the 1.3L + IMA. I can't find it anywhere, and I'm about to put it on my 'list for Torrance', when I call them.

For those who are asking - I'm not talking about error / diagnostic codes, but manufacturing codes. For example, the 1.8L in the DX/LX/EX is known as the R18. The 2.0L in the new Si is a K20 (more specifically, K20Z1). But for the life of me, I can't find the alpha-numeric code for our engine.

I've been calling it an R13 - but I can find no prior references to that anywhere. Usually, you can look at the emissions sticker under the hood - but I can't discern any codes there that I can interpret, either.

Does anyone know ? This is really bugging me (yes, I know - what's the big deal. Humor me...lol :)

I'd like to know the engine code as well. I haven't found it anywhere as yet but I'll find it.

it may be stored as a .flv file in your browser cache. that's the flash video file format anyways. if it's there, there are .flv codecs for most media players or you could download one from downloads.com i think.

Finally found it last night, as I was nosing around under the hood.

I noticed the code 'LDA2' with a number stamped into the side of the engine block. Googled that with 'Honda', and...voila! That's our official Engine Code. Yes, it differs from Honda's conventional engine coding schema.

For the record, the HCH-1's engine code is LDA1
The Insight's is ECA1
The Accord Hybrid's is JNA1

The previously posted info from hondanews.com, et al, is the most in-depth technical info I can locate on the LDA2.

Very interesting indeed... like you said, it's the only Honda engine code that doesn't seem to indicate the displacement in the name, but that seems to be consistent among the hybrid powertrains based on your info.
