Hi, I have a 2003 civic hybrid 1.3, can anyone tell me if it has a timing belt or chain!! Help will be appreciated. :confused:

The 2003 HCH has a timing chain.

On any vehicle:

A timing chain needs to be clean and lubricated and will thus be behind a sealed, usually metal cover.

A timing belt will often be behind an unsealed plastic cover.
