Honda Civic Hybrid Intake or K&N Filter

Has anyone put on a cold air intake or short ram on their hybrid? What about just putting a nicer air filter like K&N? If so, did your mileage jump up any? I know it's not going to make a "huge" difference in power, but some would be nice. Thanks!

I dropped in a K&N filter about 6 months ago. No noticable mileage increase. :(

Have a K&N drop in filter now for two years...no mileage or performance difference (but honestly, even a 5% increase over almost nothing is still almost nothing, ;)), but it pays for itself after two cleanings vs 2 replacements of the paper filter.

I'd venture to guess that an intake might actually make somewhat of a performance difference given the length, size, and turnings, and sound attenuation chambers of the stock intake tract, but again, 10% increase over nothing is still almost nothing, and you'd end up making your civic sound really buzzy with more intake noise. I'd save my $$$ and just do the drop in filter.

Shoot, if it was 10%, I would definitely take that. That would be an extra 4-5 MPG for me. But if it's not more than 2, totally not worth it. I think I would just do the K&N filter because you can just wash it. The buzzing of the SRI would be tolerable if it gave increased hp or ft lb or mpg.

Sorry, i meant 10% as in HP increase. HP increase will not equal MPG increase necessarily since the MAF sensor will see more air traveling by because of the reduced restriction and the ECU will add more fuel to keep the AFR stoich.
