IMA and CVT Software Updates for the 2006
 

Last week I brought my car in for the "DCDC Output Cable Update" and, a :software update to improve the cold weather performance of the Linear Air Fuel Sensor". Both items as per my recall notice.

While my car was in, the Service Advisor told me there were two additional Software Updates my car required.

When I asked what the two software upgrades were for; I was told one was for the CVT, and the other for the IMA.:confused:

My second question was; what are the corrections or changes being made by these updates, so if anything appears different than before I may be able to distinguish a possible problem from the software update. I was just told for better mileage. I then asked if I could see the TSB for this update; I was told it was confidential :angry:

Does anyone know what the CVT and IMA software updates correct or change on the 2006 Civic Hybrid?

Wish I could help you on that, but I don't unfortunately know. Although thanks for posting this, this way I can ask them to check it.

How many cars are supposed to get this recall? I only found one TSB on the NHTSA website for the 2k6 HCH2
