Who has upgraded from HCH1 to HCH2? (or will)
I am anxious to see the MPG that experienced HCH1 owners get on their 2006 HCH2s right from the first tank.
I'd love to track this. I am one, my HCH1 is called "Gas Sipper" in the datatbase. Who else? Jason, is there a way to track this? It is a unique data opportunity. From mile one all the MPG improvement seen in these HCH2s will be the just car breaking in, not the driver's learning curve. |

I would indeed find that very interesting. As a first-time hybrid owner, I don't pretend to know how to really get the most of my mileage (Xcel now clutching his chest!:omg: ) and would really like to see what a dedicated HM'er could do.

Kenny, don't post any exceptional results or I may just have to trade my car in for an HCH II. I'm allready nearing the brink from which there is no return.

go to www.kbb.com This is the website for kelly blue book, the used car price Bible. Enter YOUR zip code. Find out what your 03 HCH will sell for private party in your big city of Chicago. Then see how much under MSRP you can get an 06 for by getting quotes via email from Honda dealers that are several hours away from your big city. Then factor in that you will be paying $2100 LESS in Federal tax in 2006. Do the math. Then decide. I did. My 2006 costs me only about $800 out of pocket. SWEET! Just remember, sell your hybrid in the big city. But buy your hybrid in a small city. |

I'm very curious to see this too so I'll know what to look forward to :)

Yes but we need a list so we know who to watch.
And then we'd need to know what their old and new car was named. Then we'd need to remember to look this all up from time to time and track it. Jason, can you track this separately somewhere, somehow? Is it worth the trouble? |
Re: Who has upgraded from HCH1 to HCH2? (or will)
I sold my 2005 HCH 5 spd and upgraded to an '06. I averaged about 47 mpg on my '05. I am still on my first tank, but will update my profile and input my hand calculated mpg when I fill up.
