2010 Lexus RX Full Review article

Hey all,

It's been a little while, but we have a great extensive review on the 2010 RX, including the 450h that has our attention.

What are your early thoughts on it? Worth an upgrade? The article admitted that the performance qualities are slightly lacking in the hybrid version of the RX. But, of course, few of you will look to take the 450h to the track.

For your purposes: all wheel drive option, classy interior, tech-heavy console, slightly more cargo space. Are these the options that have you seeking the 2010 450h? If not, then what would get you more interested?

"...then what would get you more interested?.."

An RX225h

Or maybe even an RX280h.

Using the new Venza I4 but adapted to DFI.

Or even a much smaller I4 with DFI and a variable speed/volume positive displacement SuperCharger using the CVT torque split drive technique. Engine belt drive for one input and another synchronous AC motor/inverter for the other input.

Full range variation of the SC speed, pumping volume, independent of engine RPM, eliminate the throttle plate.
