Where would I get a hybrid automotive reconditioning package done at?

Sorry, I've been out of town.

The Highlander is unique. As you've discovered, they use a module different from any others.

If the 2-3 hours also involves a significant temperature change, then that may not be an issue. What you describe is pretty typical where I live in AZ. The only distinction is, at power on, the gauge is where it was when I left it, but it immediately drops a few bars before it recovers.

The amount of testing required to achieve your stated results is well beyond that for which you are equipped. It is no small task, and I really don't have time to walk you through it.

Given that nothing has failed yet, you might consider a Hybrid Automotive reconditioning package. That would allow you to charge and discharge the battery as a whole and recover lost capacity.
