Community Guidelines

Over time, GreenHybrid has expanded to embrace a very diverse group of individuals. Certain guidelines ought to be available that define the roles of members, moderating staff and the administrator(s). In an effort to combat the occasional conflicts that arise in a community, I will provide the following responsibilities by which all GreenHybrid participants must abide. Failure to do so may result in reproach, restrictions of certain privileges and/or removal from the community.

ADMINISTRATOR(S)
All decisions by the administrator(s) of this website are absolute and will be enforced.

MODERATORS
Appointed moderators may privately contact participants, ban members and close discussions that they consider to be offensive, wildly off-topic or otherwise disruptive to the community. Member posts may be modified by moderators to fix broken code, correct unintended mistakes or reformat without editing content. Moderators may temporarily hide individual posts along with a deletion notice while an administrator(s) is being contacted.

MEMBERS

While everyone is free to access the information available on our website, membership in the GreenHybrid community is a privilege. Members are expected to be civil and friendly, respect staff decisions and encourage other members to be positive contributors, as well.

Please remember that the above roles are intended to help maintain our unique interactive community. Your participation is greatly appreciated. Visitors and members may contact us with any questions, comments or concerns and we will attempt to address your issue to the best of our ability.

THE INFRACTION SYSTEM

As of 11/21/06, GreenHybrid uses a 10-point infraction system. If a member receives 10 points by the moderating team, he will be automatically banned.

There are three types of infractions:
1) 10 points - Instant ban - For spam, etc.
2) 5 points - Major infraction - Expires after 6 months - For serious issues
3) 3 points - Minor infraction - Expires after 3 months - For insults, etc.
