Re: Removing cabin filter for better air flow?

For $15, I replaced the filter with one from Autozone. Much easier pill to swallow than the $60 Honda one. Seems the airflow is a bit better. This afternoon ought to be the real test.

Removing cabin filter for better air flow?

I'm sure this is a terrible idea, but I am sweating my *** off waiting for the car to cool down.

My current air filter is less than 6 months old (4?).

Temps are hitting the upper 90s and...

Re: 06 HCHIII @ 180k

Why don't you guys get the battery replaced at the "constant regen point". One battery for 130k miles and another battery for another smooth 130k miles. Is that not worth it?

Re: Poor mileage ~ 2006 honda civic hybrid

What region do you line in? If you got it "last year" before a cold winter, possibly the temperature has something to do with it. Did you put pipe insulation in your front grill? Why did you only...

Re: How's life with SW Recall Update?

Well, I finally got the SW Recall update today. When I picked the car up the SA told me the mileage would be worse. Well, that was all I needed to hear. I babied that car back to work and got 52.3...

44k miles and only A1s and B1s. Is that right?

Got a B1 oil change today. The Service Advisor was surprised that I'd only had A1s and B1s, and attributed it to my 90% highway driving.

When can I expect a larger service?

Cheers, nf

How's life with SW Recall Update?

I've taken the cautious approach and not gotten the recall update yet.

How's power, mileage, and battery management since your update?

I noticed the 2011 HCHII hwy mileage went down to 43mpg....

Re: 30,000 mile service? Should I get it done?

If they're only charging $260 for the $30k service, it sounds like the deal of the century!

Seriously though, sounds like you need a new dealership. There are no more services for your car based...

Re: 100,000 mile report - 2006 HCHII

Pushing 36K miles here and I have never knowingly witnessed a regen.

I'd probably trade it in and not buy the extended warranty this time.

Good Luck, nf

Re: An old 5-minute fix gives me a 10 MPG boost!

I'd check mine, but the potholes are absolutely enormous right now and I fear a blowout. The temps got up into the 20s today and I am actually back over 40mpg. My last tank in the teens was 39mpg....

Re: Another post from a happy owner

Good call on the post Kristian.

I'm another completely satisfied owner. My car has been a tank in our heavy snow (wearing Blizzaks, of course) and I have been getting 35mpg when the highs were...

Re: Heated Seats, 2007 HCH

The trimming was done so the heating element did not fry the sensor.

Temps are in the 40s and I have my Blizzaks on. Maybe lost 1mpg. Blizzaks are pretty LRR.

I was planning on putting my Blizzaks on, but it was 70 in Omaha this weekend. Weird.

Re: Year, Mileage, Problems

All right highjackers, back on target.

2006 HCH w/ 33k no problems at all. Also, had a '07 that I traded for a minivan. It had no probs up to 17k miles.

Personally, I think most major...
