Re: Parrot Bluetooth in 2006 HCH II?

FWIW, I have an 06 non-Navi w/ a Parrot LS3200. The unit was $240 and I had to cough up an additional $75 for a wiring harness. I had my local retired Honda tech-guy install for about $250 more. So...

Re: 07 HAH Vibrations

Under soft, smooth acceleration, I've noticed a fair bit of subtle feedback from the engine, ECO coming in and out, the IMA assist and the transmission shifting so for that short bit, a bunch of...

Re: Coming around again

Congratulations, hope you really like it. I bought a Certified '06 w/ 30K miles on it just a year ago. I've got 52K on it today. One-year average MPG is 34 and I'm very happy.

So for suspension...

Re: Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tires?

1,500 mile update: Still getting the same-ish mileage, still the quietest LRR tires ever, even at 36-40psi. After a four-wheel alignment, my handling issues went away (Remember, these are for my...

Re: Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tires?

Sorry for the delay, but I wanted to finish the existing tank and run a full tank on the new set of tires.

Verdict: same mileage, quieter ride

They are as efficient as the stock Michiclen MXV4...

I just took the plunge, too. Bought four 215/60-16's for my Accord Hybrid. Initial drive (+50miles) they are quiet, about the same mileage, but very wiggly around higher speed turns on the...

Re: HAH upgrades?

I've got about 350miles on them now and I admit the ride is a bit firmer than stock, but mostly unnoticeable, except for expansion joints and pavement transitions. They seem progressive as small dips...

Re: HAH upgrades?

Thanks! I just did my "school bus run" and covered 110 miles. Still liking the set for now at least. No, I did not change the struts; the shop that did the install said they had no leaks and seemed...

So glad you asked... ;)

I've been torn w/ how much I love my Accord Hybrid (Yes Tiger you were right!) and with how much I hate the space under the front fender. I didn't think I was a superficial guy, but I really wanted...

Re: Navigation System for 05 Accord Hybrid

Plus the Garmin's UI and screen res is 10x better than the Honda Navi; the only downside is wires and mounting hardware. I agree w/ Keith that having the built-in unit rocks for XM station details,...

Re: If using 16" or 17" rims on HCHII - what's your average MPG?

Agreed! I started thread a while back on a HCH w/ 19's on it. Looked great (I guess it was lowered a bit) and the reported mileage was in the upper 40's, too!

Teaser (click for biggie size)...

Re: HAH Reliability

2006 w/ 40K miles (second owner)

I have had no problems at all. I love this car 10x more than my civic. Larger, more power, better seats, more power, quieter, more power...

However, I am...

Re: Navi Update DVD

Bummer.

(FWIW, the update seems to add a ton of places where I don't live, so it's mostly pointless... but I saved 20%!)

Re: Navi Update DVD

No need to wait. There was no coupon or discount code on the mailer. I hit the hondanavi.com site, entered my year and model and got the discount automatically....

Re: Navi Update DVD

Just got the card in my mailbox. (I live in Middle TN)
The hondanavi.com (http://www.hondanavi.com/) site is up w/ details. For my 06, it says the latest DVD is v4.73 which is a fairly big jump from...

Re: Hybrid and Standard Accord Accessories

Congratulations as well! (We own 6 cars, the Accord Hybrid is my daily driver)

The sedan bodies are identical, save no trunk pass-through and smaller trunk since the batteries are behind the back...

Haven't had that happen (yet) But when my GPS wouldn't update (show that I was moving) I reloaded the software from the DVD. W/ the ignition on, before pushing the Legal [OK] button, hold [Map/Guide]...

Re: Using E85 in a pinch?

Right you are FanFaron!
All Hondas (really all gas cars that are not explicitly E-85 (or "FlexFuel") can burn only 10% ethanol. No more... So essentially we're "E10"

From the manual:

In you...

Re: Nada values

I got my 06 w/ 30K miles a few weeks ago for $22K (!) The book was $26K and they had $24K in the window. It's my 5th car from the dealership, so that may have had some weight in the additional price...

Re: Negative Camber Problem; What You Need To Do To Get The Upper Control Arms Replac

Thanks Flash, no one else seems to wait for long...
I have to drive 22 miles and juggle 3 kids to drop-off/pickup cars, so it takes some planning. I can't just 'pop-in' and get things done.
So, I...

Re: Negative Camber Problem; What You Need To Do To Get The Upper Control Arms Replac

This is the middle of three weeks waiting for my control arms to come in. The dealer said they were doing 'quite a few' civics and the parts are on back order.

Has anyone else around the country...

Re: HCH-II Most Wanted Feature Not Available

Understood, but I've gone through 4 or 5 BT headsets and continue to get and have complaints about "under water" sound and fumbling to stick it in my ear when the phone rings. No, didn't care to have...

Red face Well, that didn't take long....

Last night while leaving the pizza store parking lot, I was kindly informed by a local police officer that state law prohibits all flashing lights other than yellow or red, and no civilian vehicle...
