Re: 2007 HCH Road Noise

Not BS in my book:

I was lucky to come accross the TSB in GH after having paid for a new set of tires and a dealer realignment. Dealer didnt tell me about the TSB at the time of the alignment. ...

Re: Gallery of '09 HCHII w/ pics of leather, heated seat and VSA button

Kind of OT, but mine probably did not deliver in perfect shape. - initial alignments were way out.

In researching/pushing for the rear control arm TSB work to be done last year, I had the dealer...

Re: How far can you usually go on a tank of gas?

You will probably get between 500-600 miles before the last gas pip goes out.

I pushed it and got over 700 miles once - some have gotten over 1000 miles by overfilling or stuffing the tank and...

Re: Detailed hch2 review

Re: Detailed hch2 review

In my experience, you would need a tailwind or downhill stretch to average 70mpg at 60mph. Its more like 60-65mpg, at least using CC.

Simply slowing to 50-55mph would probably get you there...

Re: Los Angeles to Phoenix HCHII Run

Great job - and discipline keeping it at 55! Even I would be at 60 on CC for that trip...

Did you have AC on as well? 60mpg for the trip is super.

Re: age old question: HCH vs. Prius

If you are insisting on one of these two hybrids - they are both good choices and are close in most performance categories. You should test drive them.

If you are looking to save $$, you might be...

Re: Affect of running the A/C (in Florida!) on a Hybrid

running the AC versus not at all will impact your FE by 5%+, not 1%.

The energy to run the compressor really origionates from the GAS fuel....

Basically drove on daily commute (at ~65mpg) and not on weekends with a fair amount of CC at 55-60mph max.

Cant seem to pull...

Re: New 2008 HCH - a noob gets 61.2mpg!
