Thanks to all. I figured it was there "for my own good". I typically leave the vent open and welcome a little heat as well and assumed it had to do with the window........

Air Vent question

WHen running the heater with the control knob positioned to blow to the floor only, I get significant heat out of the driver side vent on the dash. Even at low speed it releases air from that vent....

And I do wear it, I just prefer to put it on as I am exiting the neighborhood or driveway and would like to get in my car, start it up, wihout the "reminder" buzz. I know.................

I know.....please don't tell my wife or kids but......I saw a fix to override this for an earlier model. Anyone know the fix for the '05 ? If not can the buzzer be disabled w/o affecting other stuff...

Seems like it used to drop to a lowere level before the 3-4 bar "uphill charge". Now it goes down 5-6 bars and the "force charge" occurs. I need to test a bit more and will advise. I have this tank...

Update from RoyalF on tire pressure

AT last writing, I had increased tire pressure from 30 psi (as it came from dealer) to 35 psi. The tank trip meter settled in around 49 mpg but over time (and traffic) ended at just below 45 mpg....
