Blower motor relay or power controller?

Blower motor relay or power controller?
Does anyone know if it's easy to access the relay for the blower motor? I've owned my FEH for like 5 years and now that it's at 200,000 miles I'm getting comfortable with tinkering with it instead of babying it like a new car. I wanted to plop a few solar panels on the roof and hook them up to the 12v battery with a diode. I can then use the power from that to flip the relay for the blower motor, which will turn the fans on, keeping the cabin cool when it's sitting in the 110 degree California sun. The diode will make sure that the blowers turn off when the panels stop producing electricity so that it doesn't kill the battery. On top of that, all of my power hungry accessories end up killing my 12v battery if I don't drive it for a few days or if I sit with the radio on for more than 15 minutes.

No idea, but it sounds like you've needed a new 12V for a long time. Unlikely your "accessories" put that much of a load on your battery. You're battery is just finished.
