Brake squeek when in reverse TSB issued
1 Attachment(s)
When I back out of my garage in the morning and apply light brake pressure my brakes squeek. My wife's '07 XLE-V6 does not.
Toyota has issued a TSB (Thechincal Service Bulletin) addressing the issue. It adds some clips to the brake pad assembly and is a warranty fix. Just an FYI. J See Attached |
Re: Brake squeek when in reverse TSB issued
I guess it might affect, besides the 2007 Camry non-hybrid, only those 2007 TCH within prod. number [000000-009909] ... my prod. number is greater than 21000, therefore no issue for my 2007 TCH :)

How do you determine your production number?
Thanks |

Schmidtj - Thanks for the info. I'm production number 922 and reported exactly the same thing. I'm at 4200 miles so I'll print out the bulletin and have them take care of it during my first maintenance.
