braking sound

is it only me or does anyone else love the braking sound (recharging of the batteries) when you are braking?

It sounds like an electric train and i love it!

Re: braking sound

On a quiet night coasting down a overpass where I usually have to stop at a red light 300 feet from the base of the overpass. I can hear the generator whine as I gently apply the brakes and can hear it till the car completely stops. I remember hearing the generator at this same location on the '07 TCH, but when around 15 mph to a full stop it didn't seem as loud. I think the '12 may putting our more generator current so to charge the traction battery up a little faster than the '07 I had. Still the '07 was the best car I ever owned and it got great mpg numbers.
