Dual system failure
 

I have a 2007 Camry and the VSC system check light and Hybrid system check light both came on at the exact same time. The instrument panel shows that the hybrid battery is charging. Could there be a common thread here? If I had the schematics I could run it down so if there is some place I could get those it would help too.

I remember some instrument panel warnings in the past and the culprit was the gas cap not being tightened.

Your problem may be completely different. I just wanted to throw this in.

You need to have the car scanned for a trouble code that should point you into the right direction. Autozone use to do a scan for free. You might give them a call and ask.

for starters, locate and pull ECM fuse out for overnight. Should you go to dealer, about 1st thing they do is reset your ECM. Pulling fuse is layman's way of doing it.
