New - shopping for a TCH

The wife and I are shopping for a TCH. I've been doing a lot or research but thought I'd join up in case I need to ask some questions. Right now, I just thought I'd stop in and

Looking forward to the improved mileage and a nicer car (than the Sebring it'll replace)

The selling point for my wife was the "CVT" transmission. While we were test driving the TCH I was trying to explain the difference from a regular automatic but not making my point very well. When we got back I had her take out a regular Camry immediately and at the very first shift point she understood and instantly was sold on the hybrid' smooth drive.

Hey Srothfuss!

One of the many rentals I had before getting my TCH, was a Sebring. I couldn't wait to get another rental car.

As someone who is a couple of weeks ahead of you in the car buying process, definitely look thru the back pages on this forum. I learned so much about the TCH and it made it easier for me to get in and be able to drive it. My DH is the techie in this couple! ;;)

There are also some great tips on how to buy a car out there as well. Don't ignore those in your research! The worst part of this process was the constant fending off of salespeople trying to sell you something even when they didn't have the car I wanted on hand.
