Will a Mountain Bike fit in Trunk?
 

Guys,
I bike a lot and would be interested to know if a regular sized mountain bike would fit in the trunk (with the front wheel removed).

Don't know how the Camry's dimensions are, but I had very poor luck fitting a mountain bike in my '92 Toyota Corolla with back seat down. It fit, but not without scratching both the bike and the trunk lip (and nearly breaking the trunk light. :) Camry is a larger vehicle than the Corolla but maybe it'll be a better fit. I ended up with a Saris trunk bike rack mount for the Corolla.

Camry hybrids trunk is small. I don't think you can fit a mountain bike in it.

Actually, I think it will, given that someone has fit a large suitcase in it, or a double-stroller. But I need to know from someone who has the car and has tried it.

I have seen the trunk and it's not that small!

A greasy bike in my trunk??? Not today, maybe tomorrow! Be sure to throw in a couple of wet, smelly dogs, too. Hehe.

Actually, you might have luck with the bike in the back seat, with the seatbacks folded down.
