ECVT Transmission?
 

How does the Toyota Highlander's ECVT transmission work. People have said it is not like a conventional CVT, if not then how does it work? And how does the drivetrain work? Like is the gas engine connected directly to the axle or does it go through the electric motor to send power to the wheels?
