I've noticed a few times that with good lighting, the interior black colors aren't consistant. The fabrics and most of the interior is black black. However, the dash area and panels below the windows have a definite purple hue. Am I right?

I noticed that right away when I picked mine up at the dealer, maybe that was b/c it was a very bright clear day out. I thought it was a nice subtle contrast. Very much my style of design aesthetics.

It looks like it is almost black with a metalic brown hue to me.

At night the exterior of my car is grey.
In the day it changes colors to a powder blue.

Others have pointed it out too.
Go figure!

That means your interior is powder blue :) Notice how everything turns grayscale at night?
