Seeing red....
 

Hi Group,

I'm thinking of a Barcelona Red Prius and I'm wondering how the red color holds up after a few years. Back in the day red cars used to fade badly so that a car just a few years old looked terrible. I know paint technology has come a long way but I'd like to get the opinion of a couple of folks that have had a red Prius for a while.

So...how does the Barcelona Red age. Good, bad?

Are there after market surface treatments that might help preserve the color?

Black with a few tiny rust colored spots that have been there since I bought the used car. It was yellow two weeks ago but the pollen season is over.

Yeah, our pollen season is about mid-way through (here in Delaware).

Anyway... still looking for some coments from owners of red Prisuses (sp?).
