Re: '07 not turning to electrical mode
It could be overheating via MECS pump-hybrid battery fans not working-lacking of cooling air to the hybrid battery via air conditioning lines/blend door. Do you have a scanguage to monitor sensors.

Re: '07 not turning to electrical mode
Thank you Billy, i think you're tight, i will check the fan... because in the morning its works fine, it is not to warm, but in the afternoon it is very hot 32C. And not getting to EV...its just try and try but not goes...
Another thing, could i use preston coolant to keep it cold ? Or what suggestion.. I see when i park, its drop some water.... I belleave is condensation...
Or what extra liquid with the coolant ?
Thank you very much.

Re: '07 not turning to electrical mode
Has the MCES pump been changed? To check, turn the key top "on" but do not start the engine. Get out-move to the front of the vehicle and you should heard the mecs pump making noise.

Re: '07 not turning to electrical mode
Hello Billy.. the MCES pump is working fine... I haven't check the inside battery fan... i will these weekend.. i think that is my problem.. because like i said before.. when the weather is cold, early in the morning and at night it goes fine to EV... its only when the weather is hot... uhmm i will find out what is going on...
After that, i have been checked with scanner and everything looks ok..
Thank you for your interest and help.

Re: '06 not turning to electrical mode_ HV Cooling Fan
Hello.. hope everything being happy.
I have checked the HV cooling Fan, there are 2 .. one is working when the the Escape is on.. but the other don't..
I don't know if the 2nd start later or have to start at the same time..
If i have to buy it.. any suggestion ?
By the way, there are any free place to download a mechanic PDF manual.. i don't live in the US.. and it is very difficult to find solutions here..
Thanks in advance.

Re: '07 not turning to electrical mode
I replaced these cooling fans in my '05 about as month ago and it wasn't too hard at all. Did it in a little over an hour. Now my battery stays nice and cool.
