Computer hacks??

Computer hacks??
I am loving my '05 FEH bought last October. One of the few things that bugs me is NO EV mode above 29-30 MPH. It's so hard to keep it in EV mode w/o people behind me being right on my tail since I have to dawdle along at 27-28 MPH.
Has anyone heard of any way to get the max EV MPH up just a little to like 32 MPH?

"Technically" the FEH can travel up to 39.9 MPH in EV mode...
You will see this going downhill or on the flat with a strong tailwind
In my FWD I quite frequently make it to 39.9 or drop into EV at 39.9 when decelerating from a higher speed, but I understand this is more difficult in the 4WD versions.
To get higher EV speed without any "hacks" add more air pressure to your tires.
45 to 50 psi is safe and will increase both your EV MPH and your MPG.

I'm talking about level ground, under some throttle to maintain speed. Yes, I can go up to 40 MPH (downhill usually) if I'm not touching the gas pedal. But if I touch the throttle above 29-30 MPH the ICE starts up.

I'd forget about any computer hack in the '05 - '08 FEH's if I were you. You may cause more damage to the eCVT than it's worth.
