Default Coolant engine drain plug

Hey guys! I have a 2005 Ford escape hybrid and am wondering where the engine block drain bolt is? Everything I'm reading is saying just to drain from the petcock, but I want to get the coolant from the engine too, for the best flush possible. Does anyone have any pictures or can help me find it?

Also, if I do the MECs at the same time, where that bleeder valve is is completely separate than trying to get the normal coolant out?

Thanks in advance guys!

Default Re: Coolant engine drain plug

from what i read (in general) when i got my 08 kia sorento is that the foreign manufactured cars are the ones the have block drain plugs for the coolant;
american manufactured cars do not; have not confirmed this but i know my kia has them;
i get around a lot of mechanics and they say they do not drain from the block plugs anyway.
only had my 09 FEH for about 4 weeks so have not done extensive research into it.
i would just drain from the petcock anyway.
