Default Headrest monitors

Well after looking at the drop down options for rear seat entertainment, I came across these.

Has anyone installed a set before? I am going to give em a try, worse case I will throw em back on ebay or craigslist if they don't work out...

Just make sure that any you get, have the correct spacing between the posts. For the FEH/MMH, it is about 6".

Here is a pic from another eBay auction, for ones specifically designed for the Escape...

On this one they are adjustable.

I saw the others for the Escape, but with leather, cloth would stick out too much...

I hope you don't intend to install these yourself. I have a friend who does this and there is more that meets the eye. Price the ebay install plus installation and then price it through a local shop. local shop may be a better buy.

Actually I have full intentions of installing it myself. Maybe you didn't see my other thread where I installed a Kenwood DNX-7100 Double Din Nav system?

The hardest part is fishing the wire through the seat, but its not that hard. I already have the front nav/dvd/video in wired to be able to split to 2 monitors.

Additionally, the head unit I put in has 2 aux power switches built in, and if I throw a couple of relays in there, I will be able to turn these on and off from the front.

So, in short, I think I am qualified...
