Default Vehicle differences between States

I know that I've run into vehicles manufactured to satisfy California emission requirements, for example. Are there any differences in FEHs from state to state? And is the answer any different from 2005 model year to now?

TIA

Ford sells one model FEH in all 50 states, and has from the start.

MY 2005, 2006, 2007 are identical.
MY 2008, cosmetic differences only, same drivetrain.
MY 2009 is what I call "second generation" with new engine and other enhancements.

The window sticker should say something similar to "50 state emissions".
