Who Has The Most Miles?

Re: Who Has The Most Miles?
Nope. But mine had 8mm of pad left at 30,000 miles.
At that rate, they will be 100,000+ mile pads.
Also, Ford predicted the back would wear more than the front, since the electric motor does most of the stopping up front... but all 4 of mine were identical at 30,000 miles.
Does the mean my back ones are wearing less than expected?
Or are the front wearing more than expected?

Re: Who Has The Most Miles?
Nope. Don't think so.
For good reasons ( like better MPG ) there should be no positive torque ( pulling power) or negative torque ( braking power ) coming from the rear during normal operation. The 4WD only activates when there is wheel slip detected. You drive a FWD vehicle most ( if not all ) of the time.
But I don't own a 4WD so I'd like to hear from 4WD who have been owners for a while and have more experience then I do.

Re: Who Has The Most Miles?
You are correct, sir!
FWIW my Toyota dealer told me last time I was in that they have yet to do a single brake job on any Prius. Ours was in for it's 90K service and the front pads were at 80 percent and the rear shoes at 60.
