Default Bought another Yukon Hybrid

I love my 09 Yukon Hybrid, but at 197,000 miles thought I might want to upgrade to a newer one even though everything works on this one. Found a super nice 13 Denali Hybrid in California so now I have 2. Nice to find one that is totally clean and rust free. I found a couple of nice one in northern states but the undersides were rusty as all getout. Even though I live in a state that gets snow and salt, don't want to start out rusty. Mine has stayed nice due to frequent washing and underbody cleaning. I enjoy a full size SUV that gets 19.7 or so in town. Looking forward to seeing if this one which is rated 3 mpg higher highway actually gets better than my old one which did about 21 at 75 mph.

Where are you getting that they have different ratings? Even with 4WD, they have essentially identical ratings, or are you looking strictly at the hwy between the 4WD models?:

As your picture shows, my 09 is 20-20 and the 2 wd 21-22, while the 13 Hybrid 4wd is 20-23, 3 mpg higher. That is a 15% improvement on the highway. Engine modifications, tuning, and increased use of 4 cyl mode is responsible.

Gotcha... I rarely look past combined because so much of my driving is combined.

The Denali and Escalade hybrids in 4X4 were the best deal out! They had huge MPG improvements over their AWD larger engine cousins. 4X4 has 4-Low!

Platinum

Sand Dunes 032

I found that the pick up trucks had the least improvement over their non-hybrid cousins.

2-Modes were NEVER FlexFuel capable.

NONE!

Parts of the engine were made common but not the vehicle.

RPO: LZ1

The LZ1 replaced the LFA as the Hybrid Vortec 6000 in 2010. It added flex fuel capability. It was available in hybrid SUVs and pickups until 2013.

Fuel Injector Part #12613411
Fuel Injector Flow 36 lbs./hr. @ 58 psi

RPO LFA Fuel Injector Flow
30 lbs./hr. @ 58 psi

Fuel Injector part #
12580681

so the Fuel injector flow rate increased by 20% sounds like E85

Tahoe_08, you're a **** clown. You don't know ****, and you extrapolate conclusions based on vague connections.

#1, you could check the **** owner's manual. The 6.0L is NOT listed as flex fuel, yet the other Aluminum block engines are.

#2, https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/Powe...oe&srchtyp=ymm, the 6.0L hybrid is NOT listed as flex fuel, yet the others are.

#3 (really the most important one) - Hillbilly Hybrid has forgotten more about the GM 2 mode hybrids than you could ever possibly learn during the rest of your life. If he states a fact about GM Hybrids, it's a **** fact and isn't up for debate unless you just want to show how much of an idiot you can be.

STFU and go away. You just muddy every thread you enter.
