That's excessive. If you've done that recently, there is nothing to be gained from subsequent discharges.

 

Quick update,
I took the pack back to greentec & upgraded to their mid range offer of a higher quality higher capacity pack, and the MPG was immediately deff better (between 38-40).

I'm in the middle of cycle grid charging to recondition it and noticed that the cooling fan isnt coming on when grid charging. i checked the volts that the grid charger is outputting to the fan and its 2.6v

Do you think the fan motor is burned out from using it too much, OR grid charger is messed up OR is the new battery giving it so little feedback that it doesn't think the cooling fan needs to be on?

 

Grid charger directly powers the battery fan. There is no communication between the vehicle/charger/fan when grid charging.

I've never seen a fan fail.

If output is 2.6V to the fan, I would conclude the grid charger has failed.

Do not charge without active cooling. Period.

Alright, i yanked the two wires that go to the fan out the side and put the panel back on, shaved a bit of the plastic sheathing off the wires and hooked a 12v batt charger up to them. Fan is blowing strong now.

yeah, irritating too, the MaxxVolts grid charger is brand new...
