Default any non-American using Duracool / HC12

Duracool AKA HC12 is a refrigerant made of propane and butane. Not legal for cars in the US. Very common in the rest of the world.


It cools better than R134 at a much lower pressure, maybe a 40% less HP loss.

Might make a difference on a hybrid.
It's popular among some guys who restore vintage GMC motorhomes
