Had this problem corrected last weekend. I asked about the greasing on the wheel and the dealer said that was not the problem. There was a "Brake Kit" recall that was performed and it solved the problem.

Before the recall service was performed I had the same problems as other mentioned before, Amber 'Brake System" light, no 'Auto-Stop', and difficulty getting the car into reverse or out of Park. After the service, everything is just fine.

Neg. camber would cause the inside of the rear tires to wear, would it not? H

the overgreasing issue was on the steering wheel column, not the wheels (rims)

I'm sorry, I meant steering wheel. Anyway, the mechanic/service tech at the dealership indicated the STEERING WHEEL greasing issue was not the root cause of the problem. I will be more careful when I post next time.

I've never heard about this "Brake Kit" recall. Any idea what it was?

It sounds to me like the Break Light is Braken! I was talking to a friend of my in the office brake rum and he told me one time when he broke, his break light did come on either. It looks like they are easy to Brake!
