Question for those of you with Nav...

In my searches looking for any tidbits of info about the nav system, I cam across a youtube vid that showed a custom loading screen, that led to this page:

My question is that the car in the demo is a 2006 Si, and mine will be an 08 Hybrid, so will the system files this replaces possibly replace it with an older copy of the firmware? If so I wouldn't want to do this - but it seems like a really nice way to customize the system a little...
