Congrats!
Good dealdepends on what that extra $2234 was for. Dealer markup? Not good. Taxes? Good!
Most cars are going for MSRP. In Orange Co, I imagine there is a markup. Many Californians travel many miles to get an HCHII for MSRP.
Regardless, you've got a great car. Congrats!

How did you obtain that price? Did you have to negotiate or did you receive the quote from the internet sales manager? What dealer did you use?

just getting internet quotes back and forth. when i finally got a low enough price, i called around to see who had stock. then i asked if they match quotes, but didnt tell them the price. came in, went through the process, let them give me the quote, and said "you said you match quotes, here's what i have." they matched and the rest was history

Congrats! I just picked up mine on Saturday. Found a dealer in San Antonio that was actually selling a little under MSRP and gave me an amazingly good trade on a beat up 2000 Focus ZX3 with over 100,000 miles.
Had to say I was pleased getting over 40mpg on the first tank driving 70-75 mph most of the way :-)

I just picked up my HCH II right before Thanksgiving. I am real pleased with it! Got mine below MSRP by shopping around via the internet and driving 100+ miles, but hey, given the gas mileage, it didn't cost much in gas
I was going 75 mph on the interstate all the way home, lost some good mpg there, but it was late. Now I am working to pull it back up around town. The next tank should be better when I do my usual commute to work.
