"You have the skill and tools to do it"

Not really, as I said before, I'm a checker

Just thinking: what are the rear bolts doing with the mod's at the front. I'll have to have a look at mine. Something's going to be rotated a bit, not sitting quite squarely, though the angles not that much.

Often I find the best course is to do nothing. If you have a minor issue like thigh support I'd say just live with it. The seat is height adjustable, and the seat back tilt angle can be adjusted. I find this a solution in search of a problem. Just my opinion.

Its a way more comfortabe! No more sore butt or knee.Try it you'll like it!!! It is something Honda should look into, because it sure improves the comfort! If you like it as is , enjoy it that way. Mendel.

I know, I know. But what I'm thinking about is how this mod. will behave in a front-end collision with an oncoming vehicle.

If anything Mendel it will help in a head-on, but then I try to avoid head-ons!

Front in collision? Even if the bolt give the front of the seat will drop an inch and you'll hit the airbag. No problem.

It's the rear-end collision you need to worry about. The bolts give and you could be in the rear seat in a hurry. I'm betting that the bolts I added are as strong as the stock bolts. I've got four up there now. Maybe it even dissapates the force from two bolts to four.

I'm not worried.

My mom hates the headrest in the car. We have tried my friend's accord headrest and it's more comfortable, so we ordered one. If you do this, be sure to order a 2007 accord headrest. I've heard that the 2008 ones are the same as the civic (as far as comfort goes).

Try a raised position and they will not interfer with her. Higher the better Hal

My mom has tried the headrest all different ways. We just got the Accord one today and she loves it. It does not look exactly the same as the Civic's, but the color is so close you can't tell it's different unless you really look. Personally, I think I like the Civic's better, but the Accord's doesn't hurt me and I can get used to it.
