What’s Going on Underneath That Hood?
When you’re shopping, remember that EPA estimates are just that — estimates. If you want to see how these hybrids perform in the real world, check out www.greenhybrid.com. It’s a “Real Hybrid Mileage Database” where hybrid drivers track their fuel efficiency for all to see. If you’re the kind of person who thinks this is fun, try tracking the new Tahoe and see how she fares. Users there also share tips and experiences based on their hybrid ownership.

Way to go!
"check out www.greenhybrid.com"
I did notice a couple of comments by folks that were inaccurate. I politely posted:

Only "CNW Marketing" ever claimed hybrids had an environmental problem and no one who reads their report believes the made-up data and inflated claims. Another bogus report in the _Daily_ _Mail_ about Canadian nickel has been withdrawn. Also, there are two hybrids built in the USA, the Ford Escape in Kansas City and the Camry Hybrid in Georgetown KY. We went on a plant tour and saw the Georgetown Camrys being built. They report 1/3d of all Camrys are hybrids. Also, GM began producing two-mode, hybrid transmissions last week at their White Marsh plant in Maryland. They are building their first two-mode hybrids at a Canadian plant.
